Are there any additional fees that I should know about?
The resort charges a registration fee for every renter or owner’s guest that is not immediate family. The fee is $65.00 if you pre-register, $75.00 if paid on arrival, and an additional $75.00 fee if you bring a second car. There is a limit of two cars per property. Motorcycles are $20.00 each after the initial registration fee of $65/$75.
How many cars can I have?
You can have up to two cars per property, but an additional fee applies, noted above.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age if unaccompanied by a parent. A parent must be present at check-in and must remain in the property for the length of the stay.
Is there a limit on the number of people allowed to stay in the property?
Yes. The number of guests must not exceed 6(six) (including all children), and in some units the maximum occupancy is 4(four) people.
Can I bring my pet?
No, pets are not allowed in any unit or RV lot.
What do I need to bring?
The units have kitchen essentials such as dishware and utensils. You will also find that the units are
stocked with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and dish soap, but you will need to pick up additional supplies to get you through the remainder of your stay.
Below you will find a list of items we recommend that you bring with you or plan to buy upon arriving for your vacation.
Beach towels, paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, condiments, and spices. Sheets and towels may or may not be provided with your unit, but a linen service is available.
Where do I dispose of trash?
There is a trash compactor located at the back of the resort behind the maintenance building. Trash
is no longer picked up at each unit. Please do not leave any trash in the unit, in the ground can, or on the street/porch/yard. All trash must be bagged and taken to the compactor.
Can I bring my own golf cart?
No, Venture Out Resort does not allow golf carts to be brought in.
Can my child drive the golf cart? (When one is provided)
No, only licensed drivers over the age of 16 may drive the golf carts.
Is there Wi-Fi access?
All of our units have internet access (most RV lots do not) through their individual service providers.
We cannot guarantee internet connectivity or access due to service being provided by an outside third- party vendor. Restrictions placed on such internet services by/from computers, differing connectivity specifications, and additional factors may lead to interruption, failure, or unavailability of internet service. If you decide to access any internet content during your stay, you do so entirely at your own risk and you assume and are responsible for ensuring that any/all accessed material or content does not infringe on the laws governing, but not exhaustively covering, copyright, trademarks, pornography, or any other material which is slanderous, defamatory, or might cause offense in any other way. You further agree to be responsible for liability for breach of intellectual property laws or other claims made by or on behalf of any owner of online content. There is Wi-Fi access at the Venture Out office as well as the bottom floor of the clubhouse by the front pool. There is no password for the front office.
Is there handicap access for the pools?
Yes, there is a lift for each pool.
Is there a lifeguard at the pool or the beach?
No. There is NOT a lifeguard and children must have an adult with them at all times. Children who are not potty-trained are required to wear swim diapers in the pool.
Is there a charge to play shuffleboard, tennis, or mini-golf?
It is free to play and Venture Out provides the equipment for shuffleboard and mini-golf. There is a
small rental fee for tennis rackets and balls, but basketballs are available for use at no charge. You can pick up the equipment at the guard shack at the gate. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.
Do I need a fishing license to fish from the beach/pier?
Yes, Florida requires a fishing license.
Can I bring my boat/wave-runner?
Yes. There is a registration fee charged by the resort to bring in a boat or wave-runner. You may call the office to check rates and availability. The number is 850-234-2247.
If we are renting an RV lot, can we pitch a tent also?
No, tents are not allowed.
What if we arrive early?
Venture Out will not allow anyone into the resort until after 10:00 a.m. on your arrival date. If you
do get in early, please go to the resort office to get your pass(es) and you may then park across the street at the pool and use the bathhouse located in the downstairs of the clubhouse to change for the beach or pool. As soon as your unit is ready, we will call or text you with check-in instructions. Please do not go to the unit until we let you know that it is ready. Our housekeepers must have access to the unit and golf cart, so you may not park there, leave any personal items, or take the cart until we contact you.
What if we arrive late or after hours?
If you arrive after the resort office has closed and you pre-registered, the guards will have your pass.
If you did not pre-register, they will issue a temporary pass for the night and you will need to go to the office the next morning to register. They request that you go between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Once you have your pass, you can go to the unit. If it is keyless, you should have your code. Otherwise, it will be unlocked and the key on the table or counter.
Late arrivals for RV lots may be required to park up front for the night. There is limited parking and it is on a first come first served basis. RVs are not allowed to go to the lot after 9:30 p.m. as quiet hours start at 10:00 p.m. and they do not want anyone setting up after quiet hours.
What if I need to cancel?
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, preferably email. The guest must notify
Venture Out Rentals PCB of the guest’s request to cancel a reservation at least thirty (30) days or more before the scheduled check-in date. Reservation deposits will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received within 30 days prior to arrival. Early departure due to inclement weather does not warrant a refund. No exceptions. If you cancel within 7 days of arrival, you still owe the entire amount of the rental as we have held this property for you. All reservations must be paid in full a minimum of 1 week (7 days) before arrival date.
Are fire pits allowed?
Fire pits are allowed as long as they are in a metal body with a screen to cover to open flame and must be visually maintained and not left burning unattended.
